Practical tips from years of growing flowers, so even beginners can easily grow flowers well

In flower care, there are many little tips. Do not underestimate these tips; they were summed up by many veteran flower growers through long-term practical experience and are the essence of flower-growing methods. It can be said that whoever masters them benefits, and even beginners can grow flowers very well, not inferior to others at all.
1. Clever use of foliar fertilizer in flower growing promotes vigorous branches and leaves, and abundant, brightly colored flowers. The advantages of foliar fertilization are that it uses a small amount, takes effect quickly, and gives good results. Moreover, it will not burn the roots. For foliage plants, spraying a 0.1% urea solution once every 10 days can make the leaves dark green and the plants grow robustly. For flowering plants, spraying a 1% superphosphate or 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution once every 10 days can promote bud formation and flowering and keep the plants robust. Spraying flowers and trees with vinegar plus 500 times water can make the branches and leaves glossy green and shiny. Spraying is best done in the morning or evening, when there is dew on the leaf surface or the humidity is high, so the solution is more easily absorbed.
2. Clever use of spraying to prevent and control pests and diseases, which is both safe and environmentally friendly. Spraying branches and leaves with a 600-1000 times potassium permanganate solution, once every 7 days, for 2-3 consecutive sprays, can effectively prevent and control powdery mildew as well as damping-off and root rot in flower seedlings. Adding 1 gram of baking soda to 3 kilograms of water and using it to spray plant leaves and the soil surface in pots can prevent and control powdery mildew, anthracnose, downy mildew, and gray mold. Cut green grass or watermelon rind into small pieces, put them into a water vat, seal it tightly with plastic sheeting, and after fermentation remove the residue. The supernatant is acidic and also contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and other components, and has a very good effect when used to water flowers.
3. Clever use of soy milk and milk in flower growing makes flowers grow more vigorously and beautifully. Soy milk and milk are rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and various vitamins and amino acids. They are excellent fertilizers for growing flowers, and after use they can make flowers and trees flourish with luxuriant branches and leaves and speed up growth. However, before use they must be fermented and decomposed, generally for 7-10 days. When using, they must be diluted with 10 times the amount of water before they can be used to water flowers.
