"2015 Taipei International Invention Show & Technomart" Smart, Biomedical, and Technological Creativity Competition

The 11th "2015 Taipei International Invention Show & Technomart" is about to grandly open from October 1 to 3 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1! This year, exhibitors from a total of seventeen countries including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Poland will participate, with more than five hundred companies and inventors exhibiting over one thousand five hundred patented technical works. It is expected that the three-day exhibition period will attract eighty thousand domestic and international buyers and members of the public to attend. The exhibits are expected to be wonderful, and in order to give everyone a sneak preview, the organizer held a pre-show press conference on September 18 to reveal a number of creative inventions in advance.

The "2015 Taipei International Invention Show & Technomart" is mainly divided into two major exhibition areas: the "Invention Competition Area" and the "Technomart Area"; the Invention Competition Area displays innovative research and development results from schools and all walks of life, and an invention competition is held at the same time; the Technomart Area displays innovative technologies from various ministries, industries, government, academia, and research institutions, hoping that through this exhibition exchange platform, buyers and consumers can learn about products and drive trading opportunities.

The Invention Competition Area is further divided into the "Domestic Exhibits Area," "Foreign Exhibits Area," "Intellectual Property Office Invention and Innovation Pavilion," "Patented Product Area," and "Public Service Area." Among them, the Domestic Exhibits Area and the Foreign Exhibits Area have nearly one thousand patented works that will participate in the invention competition. The competition results will be announced on October 2, and a grand awards ceremony will be held to present gold, silver, and bronze medals as well as the platinum award representing INST's highest honor, solemnly commending and rewarding the innovative invention winners.

Exhibitors in the "Domestic Exhibits Area" include National Taipei University of Technology, National Central University, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taipei City University of Science and Technology, Far East University, and other colleges and universities, as well as well-known corporate groups such as Chunghwa Telecom, Mackay Memorial Hospital, National Technology, and Yanneng Technology; the "Foreign Exhibits Area" includes thirteen foreign invention groups and inventors from Poland, South Korea, Thailand (NCRT), and other countries; the "Intellectual Property Office Invention and Innovation Pavilion" plans to exhibit forty-four award-winning works from the 2014 National Invention and Creation Award to showcase the abundant innovative energy of our people. The "Patented Product Area" will fully present patented products and technologies from innovative research and development across various industries, and provide a professional exhibition and sales platform for patent inventors to create more trading opportunities.

The Technomart Area has fourteen specialized pavilions established by research institutions under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Council of Agriculture, as well as domestic and international industry-academia-research units, jointly exhibiting nearly five hundred research results from industry, government, academia, and research circles. In addition, during the exhibition period, ten seminars on technology transfer, industry services, and applications will be held simultaneously on the theme of the Internet of Things, including a small and medium enterprise funding matchmaking meeting and a Taiwan-Japan technology meeting, which can effectively promote more international business matchmaking; this year, for the first time, the Taipei City and New Taipei City governments have been invited to station in the inventor consulting service area, providing consulting services related to industry development in the two places, including relevant enterprise subsidies (ranging from one million to five million yuan) and guidance resources.
