FSC "104 Academic Year College Student Financial Employment Public Welfare Training Program" Begins
(Taiwan TB News Network / Reporter Chen Nianzu) In the 104th year, the FSC promoted a series of joint public welfare activities organized by financial peripheral institutions. Among them, the "College Student Financial Employment Public Welfare Training Program," organized and planned by the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation, officially began classes on September 19. FSC Chairman Tseng Ming-chung served as class director and attended the event at the National Taipei University campus.
The "104 Academic Year College Student Financial Employment Public Welfare Training Program" was organized by the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation, which invited institutions including the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Taiwan Futures Exchange, Joint Credit Information Center, Financial Information Service Co., Ltd., GreTai Securities Market, Taiwan Network Authentication Company, and Taiwan Ratings Corporation, and commissioned the Securities & Futures Institute and ten core universities to plan a total of 216 hours of courses, including basic financial education, professional certifications, and financial practice, for students about to enter their senior year who need assistance, with no restriction to finance-related departments. The purpose is to provide young students in need with complete professional financial training, help them find employment in financial institutions after graduation, further improve their family finances, and give them the opportunity to turn their lives around. After the launch ceremony was held at the FSC on May 7, applications from various schools were enthusiastic. After relevant qualification review procedures, the list of admitted students and auditors has been announced.
FSC Chairman Tseng Ming-chung encouraged the students to make the most of their final year on campus to prepare for entering the workplace. The first thing to cultivate is professional ability. They should not only learn various financial knowledge according to the course progress, but also constantly observe international and domestic economic and financial developments. Professional ability is an endless pursuit, and one must continue learning without stop. Cultivating a dedicated attitude is even more important. Only by maintaining a dedicated attitude in the workplace can one keep one's professional abilities abreast of the times.
FSC Chairman Tseng Ming-chung also urged the students to cherish society's loving resources and study diligently. The "College Student Financial Employment Public Welfare Training Program" is an opportunity for students to pursue their dream of becoming financial professionals, but how to build that dream solidly afterward depends on the students' own continuous persistence and effort. He looks forward to every student becoming an outstanding financial professional and, in the future, becoming a fresh force in our financial industry, contributing what they have learned to give back to society.
