With a maximum water height of 50 m, 35 water jets, and 8 show programs, it combines changing lights and music, plus the elegantly shaped Moon Shadow in the Pond, to make Lantan ever more beautiful by night!

Chiayi Mayor Twu Shiing-jer stated that the city government sought subsidies from the Water Resources Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs to carry out the second-phase expansion turnkey project for the fountain facilities in Lantan Scenic Area, completed in time before the Lunar New Year, precisely in the hope of providing the public with a great place to visit during the spring festival.

The Lantan Musical Fountain enhances nighttime music and lighting effects and offers 8 different performance programs, including 35 water jets, a single column reaching the sky, seagull water dance, twisted rotation, side-to-side swaying, crown water dance, arch fountain, and side-to-side swaying water dance, and other rich visual and sound-light feasts, expected to become a new topic attraction in Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan!

The fountain facilities are close to Moon Shadow Tan Heart. The performance times coordinate with the bus route departure times, starting from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with a show once every hour. The Lantan Line (City Route 1) bus departs from the Rear Railway Station Transfer Center, passes through the railway station and other transportation hubs, and along the way also passes Cultural Road Night Market. The stop at Lantan faces Moon Shadow Tan Heart directly, so you arrive as soon as you get off, which is very convenient.

The Transportation and Tourism Department emphasized that to serve the public traveling by public transport, starting from the official opening on February 3, the Lantan Line (City Route 1) bus will add nighttime outbound and return trips, and flexibly dispatch vehicles at any time according to the number of passengers. The public nationwide is welcome to take the city bus, and accompanied by the water dance, talk with the moon shadow by the lake.
