As urbanisation keeps accelerating, many people grow some potted plants at home and also plant some vegetables on the balcony. On one hand, it can cut costs a little; more importantly, what you grow yourself is completely natural, and peppers are a must-have choice for many flower lovers.

Peppers are heavy feeders. Today Huar will share a few tips for caring for peppers: sprinkle a bit of "it" and you will not need fertiliser, yet your peppers will still hang heavy with fruit. Just a little is enough to make you cry from the heat!

Peppers love fertiliser, and to make them flower and set more fruit, nutrients such as phosphorus, potassium and calcium need to be sufficient. Banana peels are very rich in these nutrients. Many flower lovers ferment them directly; although that also provides nutrients, the cycle is too long. You can simply process them a little and sprinkle some directly into the potting soil, and the effect is no worse than fermenting.

The specific method:Collect some banana peels and put them directly under the sun to bake for 1-2 days until completely dry, then bake them in the microwave for 10 minutes or stir-fry them in a pan, making them crisp, so they can be crushed into banana peel powder.

You can sprinkle the powder directly onto the surface of the potting soil. Each time you water, the powder will seep into the soil for the roots to absorb, which can promote the peppers to bloom a lot and set a great many peppers, and they will be very spicy too. One small piece each time is enough.

Besides sprinkling it on the surface of the potting soil, you can also dig a few small holes directly at the edge of the pot, pour a small spoonful into each hole, and then cover them with soil.

Note: Peppers are especially prone to disease in summer. Check the growth condition of the plants often. Each month you can spray some pepper stalk-strengthening agent on the pepper plants, which can enhance resistance, reduce pests and diseases, and also increase the transport of nutrients within the plant, speeding up growth and flowering and setting more peppers.

That is all for pepper care. If flower lovers have anything to add, you can share it with everyone in the comments section below. To learn more about growing flowers, you can follow Huajianke.
