If Your Peace Lily Is Wilting and Looks Listless, Don't Rush to Rescue It - Learn These Tips to Quickly Restore Its Vitality

The peace lily (Spathiphyllum) is one of the most common plants in the home. It is a plant that offers both attractive foliage and beautiful flowers. Its leaves stay green all year round and have a glossy sheen, and its flower shape is rather unusual. Above a mass of lush green leaves, it produces pure white blooms, giving people a fresh and natural feeling, which is why it is so well loved. But during cultivation, its leaves always droop, and it is hard to say why. Below are some of the reasons and their solutions.
Acclimatization
If the peace lily was just bought from a flower market and its leaves are drooping, then there is no need to worry, because the flower market is warmer and the air humidity and other conditions there suit it well. Suddenly moving to an unfamiliar environment means it needs time to adapt, and it will gradually grow better and better.
Water
The peace lily naturally likes a moist environment, but if it is watered too much, the soil will become waterlogged, the roots will slowly rot, and the leaves will droop. So if you have watered too much, you can place the peace lily in a high spot with good ventilation, which allows the water to drain away quickly. In the future, you need to reduce watering appropriately.
Soil Compaction
If the water never soaks through properly, the peace lily's soil will become compacted, which will make the roots breathe poorly and can easily cause them to rot. At this point, we can loosen the soil appropriately. If the situation is more serious, the peace lily will need to be repotted.
Temperature
The suitable growing temperature for the peace lily is 22-28°C. If the temperature drops below 10°C, it will be unfavorable for the peace lily's growth. Especially in the cold winter, if the temperature is too low, its leaves will droop, so in winter the peace lily must be kept in a warm environment.
