2016 Tainan International Orchid Show: Tainan Tourism Bureau Promotes March-Only Discounts to Attract Visitors

The 2016 Taiwan International Orchid Show is about to be grandly held at the Taiwan Orchid Biotechnology Park. To let visitors to the orchid show enjoy a rich experience of food, drink, fun and local cultural charm, the Tainan City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau has specially joined hands with tourism industry operators to launch orchid show month limited offers, including the "High Speed Rail Package", "Orchid Show Month Perks", "Orchid Elegance Mini Tour", "Package Itineraries" and many other programs. This year's orchid show will be held from 3/12 to 3/21. The venue will feature a 6000-ping orchid display area. Taking Taipei Station to Chiayi Station as an example, this package's discounted price is only 2,170 yuan (original price 2,810 yuan), greatly helping out-of-town visitors save money.

In addition, the Tourism and Travel Bureau has specially invited many businesses, including food, accommodation, leisure farms, souvenir gifts, and tourism factories, to launch the "Orchid Show Month Perks" limited offer program. From now until March 31, people can enjoy perks and discounts at nearly 100 businesses with an "orchid show ticket stub" or an "orchid show EasyCard ticket card". In terms of food, local food and snacks including beef soup and danzai noodles offer perks of at least a 10% discount; for accommodation, more than 15 lodging businesses offer perks of at least a 50% discount for stays during the promotional period; 20 amusement businesses including Dakeng Leisure Farm, Zoumalai Farm, and Wangui World Wild Animal Park have also been gathered to jointly launch ticket discounts; there are also many souvenir gift businesses selling pineapple cakes, pudding, peanut candy and more, offering perks of at least a 20% discount, as well as discounts on tourism factory admission tickets and DIY experience courses and many other perks, so that people visiting Tainan for the orchid show can return home fully loaded.
