How should biofertilizer be applied scientifically? These practical tips are worth mastering

General News 0 views
Apply biofertilizer scientifically and skillfully

First, combine organic fertilizer with inorganic fertilizer. Many vegetable growers use chemical fertilizer as the main type whether for flushing application or topdressing. Although some flushing fertilizers contain humic acid, inorganic fertilizers are mostly nitrogen fertilizers such as ammonium nitrate and urea. Vegetables grow well in the short term, but there is no long-term effect, so fertilization should be combined with organic fertilizer.

Second, combine topdressing with flushing application. Choose fertilizers based mainly on multi-element compound fertilizer, and adopt a combination of topdressing and flushing application. On the one hand, this solves the problem of fertilizer demand by surface roots; on the other hand, topdressing can activate the soil layer, increase roots, and buffer fertilizer effects.

Third, combine heavy water flushing with light water flushing. Many vegetable growers use heavy water flushing for fertilization whether during the seedling stage or the fruiting stage, making the fertilizer solution too concentrated and causing seedling disease, root rot, and root waterlogging. With too little water, plants easily dry out. Whether it is biofertilizer, organic fertilizer, or chemical fertilizer, fertilizer should be applied according to the seedlings and at a reasonable rate.

Fourth, combine biofertilizer with chemical fertilizer. Baishikang microbial organic fertilizer is rich in more than ten kinds of beneficial bacteria and has the effect of activating soil and regulating nutrients. Applied together with inorganic fertilizer, it can relieve fertilizer damage, increase soil organic matter, and promote root development.
