Greenhouse strawberry fertilization techniques

Strawberry is an important cash crop, and its cultivation area in China has gradually increased, with greenhouse strawberries accounting for 2/3 of it. Long-term continuous cropping in greenhouses leads to soil salinization and salinification. Therefore, in order to fundamentally change the situation of greenhouse strawberry cultivation, a systematic fertilization technique for greenhouse strawberries is provided based on the growth characteristics and fertilization needs of strawberries, thereby promoting high yields of greenhouse strawberries.

Fertilization before transplanting In August, open the film and deep-plow the land; during plowing, apply 15 kg of diammonium phosphate and 10 kg of potassium sulfate. Since strawberries grow vigorously in the early growth stage and reproductive growth is slow, it is very important to rationally adjust the inputs of nitrogen and phosphorus. Finally, rake the soil fine to prepare for ridging.

Fertilization management after transplanting One week after the strawberry transplants have survived, spray various fertilizers such as potassium nitrate, monopotassium phosphate, magnesium sulfate, and zinc sulfate several times. By early October, apply urea and monopotassium phosphate, depending on the growth of the strawberries, using the method of small amounts applied frequently.

In early November, choose a time period with sufficient sunlight and high temperature to spray gibberellin, thereby effectively breaking the strawberry's dormant period and promoting flowering. When flower buds appear, promptly spray trace elements such as boric acid, and fertilize reasonably according to the growth condition of the strawberries to reduce the probability of deformed fruit. Two weeks before picking, apply 3 times a foliar fertilizer containing stevioside; the main function of stevioside is to increase the sugar content of the berries and regulate the sweet-sour ratio of the strawberries.

Throughout the entire growth process, strawberries should also be sprayed with liquid silicon fertilizer to promote the growth of plant and fruit cell walls, increase leaf thickness, improve berry firmness, and play an important role in ensuring transportation and freshness preservation after harvest.
