Summer temperatures are high, and most flowers do not bloom, but moss rose is the exception, summer is its peak blooming season.

Usually in spring you take cuttings or sow seeds of moss rose, and it blooms from summer all the way to autumn. Except for the needle-leaved moss rose, none can survive the winter.

These moss roses at my home were all grown from cuttings taken half a month ago, and now they are already putting on a small burst of blooms.

There are still more than a dozen kinds of moss rose that were sown from seed, and they have only just sprouted now. I estimate it will be another month before they bloom.

Moss rose is a very easy plant to grow, and as long as you water and fertilize it, it will keep blooming until late autumn.

It also does not take up much space, and growing it in a 1-gallon flower pot on the balcony is enough. Flower lovers who want to buy gallon pots can search for the shop "Yanghua Nadian Shi" on Taobao.

When I planted them I applied chicken manure fertilizer and bone meal, and this current wave of blooms is still quite abundant.

After another half month the nutrients in the soil will be almost used up, so I will need to give them another round of fertilizer.

I usually dig a few small holes in the soil surface, then pour in the bone meal and chicken manure fertilizer, and the effect can be seen in less than two days.

My shop also sells bone meal, one pack for 1.5 yuan.

After a month I will take photos again of them blooming on a large scale.

By then everyone will have a comparison.
