Ministry of Culture and the French Office in Taiwan co-organize the "Taiwan-France Culture and Technology Workshop"

(Taiwan TB News Network / Reporter Gu Jiawen) The Ministry of Culture and the French Office in Taiwan will jointly hold the Taiwan-France Culture and Technology Workshop on April 20 and 21 during the Creative Expo Taiwan, under the theme "Innovative Technology and Arts and Cultural Performances," inviting relevant professionals from Taiwan and France to discuss the new horizons that innovative technology creates for arts and cultural performances, as well as the new revolution in innovative technology and guided tour experiences at arts and cultural venues, and to exchange and dialogue with domestic startup entrepreneurs.

"French Tech" is a national-level technology program that France has been developing with full effort, and the city of Avignon is the best example of making good use of technology to add value to artistic creativity. Avignon and its surrounding cities had just received the "French Tech Culture" certification granted by the French government at the end of June 2015. It is the fruit of the central government combining with local governments to help startups incorporate cultural thinking and emerging technologies through joint efforts, and it has further made the Greater Avignon area a benchmark base for startup arts and technology. The Ministry of Culture hopes that Avignon's successful experience can inspire domestic culture, technology and creativity.

The Ministry of Culture welcomes young entrepreneurs interested in cultural creativity and technological innovation to actively participate in this event. This event includes two lectures and one roundtable meeting on April 20 and 21, with seats reserved for on-site seating, available until full.
