Hsinchu Mayor Lin Chih-chien: Children's Art Festival Surpasses 100,000 in 3 Days Since Opening

Jointly created by the Hsinchu City Government and the Paper Windmill Theatre, the "Hsinchu City Children's Art Festival - Aesop's Zoo," billed as the largest children's art carnival in the country, successfully attracted families from across the nation, with an endless stream of visitors. In just 3 days since opening, it broke past 100,000 visits.

Mr. Li, who grew up in Hsinchu, and his wife brought their child to "enter the zoo and explore" on the afternoon of the 4th. Not only did they become the 100,000th visitor, but before the eyes of the entire crowd, Mayor Lin Chih-chien personally presented them with a "bicycle" and a "Lego giraffe model" symbolizing the Hsinchu Zoo, the oldest zoo in Taiwan, China, hoping the child would continue to love animals, ride the bicycle chasing the wind through Hsinchu City, and explore the beautiful corners of this city.

Mayor Lin Chih-chien said that by the third day of the event, more than 100,000 visits had been recorded. He was very grateful to heaven for giving Hsinchu good weather, very grateful to the Paper Windmill Theatre for bringing laughter, and even more grateful to the countless volunteers and police and fire personnel for making the event so successful. He called on children to take the initiative to "smile and give a thumbs-up" to volunteers or police officers.

"Hsinchu City Children's Art Festival - Aesop's Zoo" will continue until April 10. Mayor Lin Chih-chien invited families from all over the country to join in the event, and expressed the hope that every year the art festival can bring children the best Children's Day gift.
