Succulent thrown onto the roof, transformed beyond recognition after half a year, stunning the whole family

Mom loves growing greenery, and she has planted many flowers and plants in the yard back home. A while ago, Mom grew a few succulents, Sedum rubrotinctum (Jelly Bean Plant), and after keeping them for some time, the leaves always looked listless. Mom heard from Auntie Li, the neighbor, that these succulents might be lacking light, so Mom simply moved these few succulents up to the roof. More than half a year passed, and Mom suddenly remembered the succulents she had been growing. One glance, and she was grinning from ear to ear. Mom had the whole family go take a look, and everyone was stunned. They never expected them to grow so beautifully, and they had even filled the pot and spread into a big patch!
The Sedum rubrotinctum (Jelly Bean Plant) grew better and better on the roof, spreading into a large patch, with colors becoming redder and more glossy. Who would have thought succulents could withstand wind and sun like that! It seems different succulent varieties have different care methods, and succulents grown in different environments look very different, with even more variation in their condition. The light on the roof is very good. The succulents get wind and sun, plus the nourishment of rainwater, so their root systems also become relatively sturdy and well developed.
No wonder some friends say that growing succulents should be casual, and occasionally changing the environment to "toughen them up" actually makes them grow very well. Putting succulents on the rooftop to grow in the open, absorbing fully natural light, not only makes them grow fast, but also makes it very easy for them to develop old stems!
