Pesticide dilution methods vary depending on the type of formulation.
For liquid pesticides, when the amount of spray solution is small, dilution can be done directly. The correct method is to first pour 1/3 of the clean water into a prepared mixing container, then slowly pour the measured amount of pesticide into the water, then fill it up with water, and stir gently and evenly with a wooden stick or similar before use.
For wettable powders, use a two-step preparation method: first mix with a small amount of water to make a relatively thick stock solution, then prepare it according to the dilution method for liquid pesticides.
For powder pesticides, dilution is mainly done using filler materials. First take the filler (plant ash, rice bran, etc.), mix in the required powder pesticide and stir, then add more repeatedly until the required dilution multiple is reached.
For granular pesticides, mix them with a suitable filler. For dilution, dry soft soil or a chemical fertilizer with the same acidity or alkalinity can be used as the filler, and stir evenly according to a certain ratio.
