????I. "Five Online Checks" of Qualifications
The following contents can be checked through the "China Veterinary Drug Information Network":
First, check whether the name of the veterinary drug manufacturer has been approved;
Second, check whether the production license and veterinary drug GMP certificate numbers are consistent with the approved contents, and whether they have exceeded the five-year validity period;
Third, check whether the name of the veterinary drug product is consistent with the approved contents;
Fourth, check whether the veterinary drug approval number has been approved;
Fifth, check whether the approved specifications match the packaging specifications.
????II. "Two Identifications" of Product Outer Packaging
(1) Pattern identification. Whether the outer packaging printing is clear and the colors are bright.
(2) Packaging material identification. Whether good-quality packaging materials are used.
III. "Six Checks" of Labels and Instructions
First, check the label and instructions to see whether the trademark, veterinary drug name, specifications, enterprise name and address, product batch number, main ingredient content, action, use, usage, dosage, validity period and precautions of the veterinary drug are indicated;
Second, check whether there is a "veterinary prescription drug" mark (for veterinary drugs produced from March 1, 2014), and whether there is a QR code mark (limited to enterprises in Henan);
Third, check the veterinary drug product approval number to see whether it has exceeded the five-year validity period;
Fourth, check whether the production date, product batch number and validity period are marked;
Fifth, check whether the indicated indications and functional indications exceed the scope of main indications;
Sixth, check the types and names of the veterinary drug ingredients, and whether the indicated usage and dosage conform to the national veterinary drug standards.
????IV. "Three Identifications" of Common Dosage Forms
First, packaging identification. Tablets, aqueous injections and powder injections should be tightly, completely and intactly packaged, with correct and clear printing.
Second, appearance identification. Tablets should have a complete appearance, be smooth and clean, and have a uniform color; aqueous injections should be consistent in color by comparison, with no crystal precipitation, and no turbidity, sediment or mold; powder injections should be consistent by comparison, with a uniform color, loose texture, and no shrinkage or melting.
Third, weight identification. Tablets should be uniform in weight with no obvious weight difference; the limit of loading difference for aqueous injections should not be less than the labeled amount; powder injections should show no obvious difference in loading amount.
