Taichung City Summer Rural Micro-Trips Now Open for Registration

Summer is the season of abundant lychees. The Taiping District Farmers' Association of Taichung City, in cooperation with the Xinglong Community Development Association, has joined forces with local lychee farmers to launch the "Rural Micro-Trip Trilogy," including the "Independent Travel Lychee Picking Activity," the "Rural Micro-Trip Bus Tour," and the "Lychee Tree Adoption Activity." The public is invited to pick fruit and experience the rural pastoral scenery. Registration is open now, and everyone is welcome to sign up.

The Taichung City Rural Micro-Trip activities run from June 18 to June 26, with five sessions of the "Independent Travel Lychee Picking Activity" held each day, allowing participants to experience rural field life. A "Rural Micro-Trip Bus" is also arranged to take the public to taste Taiwan coffee, enjoy meals featuring homegrown aloe vera, and visit the Taiping Old Farmstead and a 300-year-old large camphor tree. In addition, in cooperation with the Xinglong Community Development Association, a "Lychee Tree Adoption Activity" is being held together with local lychee farmers, in hopes of promoting local tourism development.

In addition, the Xinglong Community will hold the "Farm Busy Fun - Lychee Amusement Park Activity" on June 25, featuring cultural guided tours of the Old Farmstead Cultural Center, a farmers' market, and artistic performances. Everyone is welcome to participate.
