The "2016 Taichung Light and Shadow Art Festival" will kick off on June 18

The "2016 Taichung Light and Shadow Art Festival" will be held from June 18 to July 24 of this year (ROC year 105). Welcome to come and enjoy it!

To revitalize the old downtown area of Taichung City, the Taichung City Government has planned to recreate the old city gates with light and shadow art at the original site of the old provincial city of Taiwan from the Qing Dynasty, stage a 3D projection mapping show in Taichung Park, and link up the old Dadun Street in the Central District to form a highly distinctive light and shadow block, thereby revitalizing historic buildings; at the same time, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taichung City has planned the "Taichung Century Chronicle" digital exhibition (http://gateway-taichung.com/), art workshops, historical and cultural guided tours, a photography competition, and more, hoping to attract the public to rediscover the wonderful history and culture of Taichung's old downtown area, enhance artistic and cultural development, and establish Taichung City as an international capital of arts and culture.
