Soaking wheat seeds in micronutrient fertilizer can increase yield

????Sun-drying seeds

Choose a sunny day, spread the seeds out in the sunlight to dry (be careful not to spread the seeds on a concrete surface), and turn them frequently so the seeds absorb heat evenly, improve the air permeability of the seed coat, enhance seed vigor, and increase the germination rate. Sun-dry the seeds continuously for 2-3 days.

????Seed soaking

According to experiments, treating wheat seeds with micronutrient fertilizer can increase yield by more than 10% per 667 sq m, with a few plots increasing yield by 20%-30%. However, the amount of micronutrient fertilizer used is very small. How should seed treatment be carried out?

1. Zinc fertilizer: use 3-5 grams of zinc sulfate per kilogram of seeds, with a seed soaking solution concentration of 0.02%-0.05%, soak the seeds for 12 hours, then dry them in the sun and sow.

2. Boron fertilizer: when soaking seeds, use a 0.01%-0.05% borax or boric acid solution to soak the seeds for 6-12 hours; when dressing seeds, the solution concentration can be increased.

3. Molybdenum fertilizer: use 2-6 grams of ammonium molybdate per kilogram of seeds. First dissolve the ammonium molybdate in a small amount of warm water, then dilute it to the point where it just covers the seeds, stir evenly with the seeds in a jar or bucket, remove them and dry them in a cool place before sowing; the seed soaking concentration is 0.05%-0.1%, using a 1:1 ratio of seeds to fertilizer solution, soak the seeds for 12 hours, remove them, dry them in the sun, and sow.
