The Export Processing Zone Administration (EPZA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs held an investment review meeting for park admission on the 23rd, approving the entry of 4 companies into Taichung Software Park, including Youshin Baby Products, White Elephant Culture Enterprise, Huibao Industrial, and Haoji Industrial, with a total investment of approximately 117.5 million yuan. The EPZA stated that the companies are mainly optimistic about Taichung Software Park's abundant resources and development potential, and will set up corporate innovation and R&D, cultural and creative design, and talent training centers to create high-value-added products and enhance their own brand value.

Youshin Baby Products Co., Ltd. invested NT$14 million to engage in the R&D of baby and maternal products. The company distributes world-renowned brands such as Good Dream Bear, sweet baby, Inglesina, and AGANIC, as well as authorized wholesale and distribution of children's ride-on electric vehicles licensed by original automakers such as Audi/Volks Wagen/BMW. In addition, the company has obtained authorization from major companies such as Disney and Sanrio's HELLO KITTY. Although it can affix brands and characters to its self-developed products, it continues to strive toward independent R&D and innovation. To this end, the company stated that it chose to move into Taichung Software Park to make use of the park's unique industry-academia-training alliance cooperation resources and actively cultivate relevant design talent in the central Taiwan region, hoping to develop its own brand and innovative products.

The EPZA stated that the Taichung Software Park industry-academia-training alliance cultivates the park's human resources and uses a single communication platform to conduct real-time exchange of data among industry, academia, and training, establishing the unique feature of the Taichung Software Park software talent database. At present, the alliance's schools include 36 universities in the central Taiwan region, such as National Chung Cheng University, National Chung Hsing University, Tunghai University, and Feng Chia University, thereby enhancing the innovation and entrepreneurship development capacity of students trained by colleges and universities and establishing a complete platform for communication and talent training development.
