(Taiwan TB News Network / Reporter Zhang Jiajun) The Service Industry Sub-group of the Ministry of Economic Affairs aims to promote the upgrading and transformation of the service industry and support the servitization of manufacturing. In response to the government's "industrial upgrading and transformation" policy, it encourages enterprises to incorporate aesthetic design. It is not only physical products that need aesthetic added value; for the service industry, using creative aesthetics to create quality consumer experiences is also something the Service Industry Sub-group has been committed to promoting all along.

Founded in 1999, VVG (Very Very Good) started from a small restaurant. Over 17 years, it has strived to integrate lifestyle aesthetics into its services. In 2012, the American entertainment website Flavorwire.com selected VVG's "VVG Something" as one of the 20 most beautiful bookstores in the world. In 2014, the company entered the Golden Pin Design Award for the first time and won the "Best Design of the Year" award with its work "VVG Village." This international recognition has made VVG a representative example of incorporating creative aesthetics as a core corporate competitiveness.

After winning the Golden Pin Design Award, VVG continued to play the role of a practitioner of Taiwan's cultural and creative aesthetics, staying true to its original aspiration. VVG CEO Wang Liqin expressed her philosophy in running VVG: "The original intention behind everything is fun! We just want to share a beautiful slow-living attitude with everyone." Such a simple and genuine attitude has invisibly brought the abstract concept of aesthetics closer to the public.

In order to guide more and more service businesses to also use creative aesthetics to enhance service quality, the Golden Pin Design Award - the international design award hosted by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, with the longest history, the largest scale, and the highest credibility in the Chinese-speaking region - has in recent years also encouraged more service businesses to participate. In addition to VVG, other service businesses such as Ever Rich Duty Free Shop, Lees Hotel, and The One have all been recognized by this award. In the future, it is hoped that through the promotion of the Golden Pin Design Award, more aesthetic experiences will be brought to the public!
