What should you pay attention to when buying pesticides?
(1) Blurred, abnormal or misspelled text, unscientific exaggerated claims about efficacy, incomplete content, and so on.
(2) The words "registered trademark" and the "trademark logo" - neither can be missing. Counterfeit pesticides often have no trademark or trademark logo.
(3) Check the "pesticide registration certificate", "production license" or "production approval certificate", and the "product standard code". If a label has both certificates and one code complete, you can buy the pesticide with confidence.
(4) Check the "shelf life". The "production batch number" is the year, month and day the pesticide was produced plus that day's batch number. Pesticides past their shelf life must not be purchased.
(5) Check the factory name and factory address. Legitimate pesticide manufacturers have clear factory names and addresses, and some manufacturers also include a postal code, telephone number and telegraph registration number.
(6) Check whether imported and repackaged pesticides have the two certificates and a shelf life. If they do, you can buy them with confidence.
(7) Check the appearance quality. This mainly means checking whether the pesticide has caking, layering, sediment or leakage.
(8) When buying pesticides, you must check whether the seller has a business license and a pesticide business permit. 73
