The 7th Jietoufen Taiwanese Opera Culture Festival will be held on 7/30 (Sat) and 7/31 (Sun) at the Yilan River Yongjin Levee - Jietoufen Culture Plaza. The Yilan County Cultural Affairs Bureau's "County and City Arts and Cultural Features Development - Taiwanese Opera New Talent Training Program" will also join the event with [Taiwanese Opera Future - Youth on Stage - Results Presentation Performance].

The Jietoufen Taiwanese Opera Culture Festival, held because of "the mission of Taiwanese Opera's hometown," is dedicated to preserving Taiwan's only native opera genre. Taiwanese Opera enthusiasts in the Jietoufen community established the Jietoufen Community Taiwanese Opera Troupe. In addition to their love of opera, they are also enthusiastic about public welfare and have gained recognition from many cultural groups, making the Taiwanese Opera culture and arts series of activities, now in its seventh year, increasingly rich and substantial. This year, once again supported and guided by the Taipei Branch of the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau of the Council of Agriculture, an artistic and cultural feast will be held on 7/30 (Sat) and 7/31 (Sun) at the Yilan River Yongjin Levee - Jietoufen Culture Plaza.

The Lanyang Theater Troupe, which has spared no effort in passing on Taiwanese Opera, has for many years made this event more vibrant with several classic plays. This time, it will present "The Marvelous Romance of the Dragon and Phoenix" at 7 PM on 7/31 (Sun). In July, as the Lanyang Theater Troupe carries out the Yilan County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau - Arts and Cultural Features - Taiwanese Opera New Talent Training Program, the Jietoufen Community Development Association specially invited the new talents to "eat the fruit, thank the tree," presenting their learning results at the birthplace of Taiwanese Opera. 24 trainees participated in this program and will present 6 excerpted scenes. With intensive training and the crystallization of their efforts, the performance is scheduled for 7 PM on 7/30 (Sat). The public is welcome to come witness and encourage them.
