How to strengthen the industrial pulse through the transformation of existing industries and by attracting youth entrepreneurship has become an important policy issue for the Lienchiang County Government. A forum is therefore being specially held to build a dialogue platform for good interaction between the central and local levels and between the government and the private sector. It is also hoped that, through the pooling of ideas and the building of consensus, Matsu's industries will flourish even more.

The forum approaches the issue from different dimensions of industry, government and academia, hoping to spark various possibilities for Matsu's industrial transformation and youth entrepreneurship, as well as the methods for putting them into practice. The forum begins with conceptual innovation, giving an overview of the innovative thinking needed for Matsu's industrial transformation and youth entrepreneurship. To enhance Matsu youth's knowledge and ability in entrepreneurship, it is planned to invite successful entrepreneur Qiu Guimei, head of "Guimei Red Yeast Small Fagao," and young new-business founder Zhuang Kaiyong and others to share their experiences, providing entrepreneurial industry information. Young people who have started businesses in Matsu are also invited to talk about their current observations of Matsu and their visions for the future, sharing the process of holding fast to their dreams and working tirelessly, so that participants can understand the efforts and aspirations of the younger generation.

The event is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on August 24 at the Folklore Artifacts Museum. All those interested in starting a business in Matsu or who have already started one, personnel from entrepreneurship-related public associations, schools and groups, small and medium enterprise representatives, and members of the general public interested in the forum topics are welcome to sign up and participate.
