Three fertilizers are indispensable in greenhouse cucumber management
1. Increase the application of organic fertilizer. Organic fertilizer not only supplies the various nutrients needed for cucumber growth and development, but also can reduce soil bulk density, increase soil porosity, and improve the soil's physical and chemical properties. Therefore, organic fertilizer plays a major role in sustaining high cucumber yields, activating and improving the soil. In production, apply 2500-3000 kg of decomposed pig manure or 5000 kg of farmyard manure per mu.
2. Spray foliar fertilizer. Foliar fertilizer is generally sprayed during the peak fruiting period with Zhuangguadiling, as nutrients are relatively sufficient in the early stage. After fruiting, the fertilizer requirement is greater, and spraying Zhuangguadiling on the leaves can supplement the nutrients the plants need.
3. Apply biological bacterial fertilizer. Increasing the application of organic fertilizer and biological bacterial fertilizer while appropriately reducing chemical fertilizer is an inevitable choice for producing pollution-free green food. For newly built greenhouses, apply 8 kg of high-quality organic biological fertilizer once, combined with Xin Gaozhi Mo for topdressing, to optimize the plant's water absorption, air permeability, and light transmission quality. It blocks pest and disease feeding signals and weakens transmission vectors, resisting and defending against natural environmental disasters. It reduces pesticide toxins and improves the effectiveness of pesticides or fertilizers.
