Garlic foliar feeding method upgraded: master the key points for more efficient fertilization
Foliar feeding allows nutrients to enter the plant through the leaves and directly take part in the plant's metabolic processes and the synthesis of organic compounds. Its effect is faster than soil fertilization, making it an economical and reasonable fertilization technique.
For garlic, apply Diguozhuangdiling plus foliar fertilizer to improve the underground bulbs' ability to absorb nutrients and their swelling vigor, and to promote the speed of development. The spraying periods can be once each during the garlic growing season (March), the garlic scape differentiation stage, the bulb growth stage, and 2-3 days after the garlic scapes are harvested. When spraying, both the front and back of the leaves should be covered. It is best to spray after 4 p.m., and the weather should be clear when spraying. If rain falls within 24 hours after spraying, spray once again.
