Fermenting sheep manure to save money and build wealth

Fermenting sheep manure into organic fertilizer and applying it to farmland not only has good fertilizer efficiency and is safe and convenient to use, but also has advantages such as disease resistance, promoting growth, and building up soil fertility, making it a good way for users to save money and build wealth. The specific method for fermenting sheep manure into high-quality organic fertilizer is: mix the existing sheep manure with straw, sawdust, mushroom residue, dry soil powder, etc. in appropriate proportions. For 1 ton of material (about 2.5 tons of fresh material), add 1 kg of fermentation agent. Dilute 1 kg of fermentation agent with 5 kg of rice bran (or substitutes such as wheat bran or cornmeal), then evenly sprinkle it into the material pile and mix and ferment.

Note:

(1) When making the pile, please do not make it too small, as being too small will affect fermentation. A height between 1.5 m and 2 m, a width of 2-3 m, and a length of more than 3 m gives better fermentation results.

(2) It is best to use rice bran rather than "unified bran"; fresh rice bran is far superior to old rice bran in nutrition and aeration. During fermentation, pay attention to proper oxygen supply and pile turning (turn it over several times when the temperature rises to 75°C or above), and control the temperature rise at around 65°C, because too high a temperature affects nutrients. The moisture of the fermentation material should be controlled at 60-65%. Too high or too low is unfavorable for fermentation; too little water makes fermentation slow; too much water leads to poor aeration, slow heating, and produces a foul odor. Methods for adjusting material moisture: if the moisture is too high, add straw, sawdust, mushroom residue, dry soil powder, etc. To judge whether the moisture is suitable: tightly squeeze a handful of material; water marks appear between the fingers but no water drips, and it breaks apart when dropped. The entire fermentation process is completed in 5-7 days. The finished organic fertilizer is fluffy, dark brown, with a slight wine aroma or earthy smell, and is rich in nutrients. Used for nutrient soil for melons, fruits, and vegetables, cash crops, seedlings, and flowers, its value increases several times over.
