Water your Phalaenopsis orchids correctly and they won't get root rot, they'll thrive with blooms, and flowers will open one after another

The Phalaenopsis orchid has green stems, and though you should not judge it by its stems, it carries deep-colored flowers and yet its stems never bend at all.
Its leaves are very similar to those of the royal orchid, with clear veins on the leaf blade forming several lines that extend neatly to the tip of the leaf.
For potted Phalaenopsis orchids, keep a ventilated, dry environment, and make sure there is no water at the plant's roots. Use a large bucket or basin as the orchid pot, put some water in it, then place the potted Phalaenopsis orchid into the basin for about 5-10 minutes, then take it out and drain off the water.
Soaking once a week during the growing season is fine; normally do not give it much water, just occasionally spray some water on the leaves and the plant.
