Premium agricultural and fishery products from Pingtung are marching into Hsinchu City! The Hsinchu City Government and the Pingtung County Government held an agricultural and fishery product marketing and promotion event on the 7th at the Mama Fish Beida Road store. Pingtung County Magistrate Pan Meng-an made a special trip north to Hsinchu City to promote fresh local agricultural and fishery ingredients from Pingtung. Mayor Lin Chih-chien said that Hsinchu City residents have high incomes and strong purchasing power, and agricultural specialties from all counties and cities are welcome to be marketed in Hsinchu City.

"The freshest Pingtung agricultural, fishery and livestock products are all here!" On the 7th, Pingtung County Magistrate Pan Meng-an, together with Hsinchu City Deputy Mayor Shen Hui-hung, Mama Fish CEO Wang Wei-hsu, and Chairman Huang Chien-lo, put on aprons and chef hats, transforming into chefs to cook Pingtung's toxin-free farmed milkfish. The scene was filled with fragrance, making people's mouths water.

Deputy Mayor Shen Hui-hung said that Hsinchu City has a unique urban DNA of "three highs and one low": "high education" means demands for food safety; "high income" means strong purchasing power; "high birth rate" means many mothers looking for reassuring flavors for their children; and "one low" refers to the city's very young population, which readily accepts new ideas. Agricultural specialties from other counties and cities are welcome to develop sales channels in Hsinchu City.

Magistrate Pan Meng-an said that Hsinchu City's purchasing power ranks first across Taiwan, and residents have a great demand for healthy ingredients. Targeting the huge consumer market, more than ten selected products are being sold at the Mama Fish supermarket this time; he also especially thanked Hsinchu Mayor Lin Chih-chien for his strong assistance, giving Pingtung's distinctive agricultural products a chance to be introduced to consumers in Hsinchu City.
