In today's society, in this harmonious and peaceful society, we feel deeply honored to live in such a country, and you could say we have no worries about food or clothing. Take fruit, for example: on today's market, there is simply a dazzling array. You could say that while enjoying the sight, you can also savor it in detail. That is really a wonderful state to be in.

However, there is one kind of fruit that can grow as tall as a two-story building, with fruits hanging all over its branches, each one as big as a basketball. Sometimes, if you just pick one at random, for a family of five, one is enough to feed the whole family.

This fruit is jackfruit. It is an evergreen tree in the Moraceae family and the genus Artocarpus. The flowers are monoecious, and when the fruit ripens, its skin is yellowish-brown, with wart-like protrusions and coarse hairs on the surface. Jackfruit is a tropical fruit and also the heaviest fruit in the world, generally weighing 5-20 kg, with the heaviest exceeding 59 kg.

In my second uncle's orchard, there are quite a few fruits like this. Whenever the fruits ripen, my second uncle calls us to come back to our hometown to eat jackfruit. Whenever you walk into the orchard, a fresh fragrance rushes to your nose, and the sight is so captivating that as you walk around the orchard, you do not know which one to pick. Sometimes you even feel bewildered!

My second uncle is a true rural man, and because of the strong support of current national policies, he has even more confidence in growing this kind of fruit. So in his orchard, any jackfruit tree is not only thick and strong, but also very tall. Thanks to his careful management, pruning of branches, and reasonable thinning of flowers and fruits, the jackfruit he grows tastes quite good, and any single one weighs dozens of jin.

At the same time, this kind of fruit tree, the jackfruit, has many other uses. Jackfruit seeds are rich in starch and can be boiled and eaten; the sap and leaves are used medicinally to reduce swelling and detoxify; the flesh has the effects of quenching thirst, promoting lactation, and replenishing vital energy; the jackfruit tree has a neat form, a broad and dense crown, and peculiar fruits, making it a beautiful shade tree and street tree; moreover, a jackfruit tree over a hundred years old has golden-yellow wood and hard material, and can be used to make furniture or as a yellow dye. So the jackfruit trees in my second uncle's orchard feel very pleasant just to look at. This is also the fruit I must taste every year. Likewise, when everyone eats jackfruit, you must also cherish it and not waste it!
