(Taiwan TB News Network / Reporter Chen Nianzu) To promote Taiwan's high-quality incentive travel and MICE environment, the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications will once again lead Taiwanese industry operators this year (2016) to attend IMEX America, the Americas International Incentive Travel and Meetings Exhibition. The exhibition will be held from October 18 to 20, 2016 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, marketing Taiwan to the vast Americas market.
IMEX America is currently the largest professional exhibition for meetings and incentive travel in the Americas region. It has been held since 2011, and this year is the sixth edition. Each year it also attracts buyers from around the world to come and find the latest meeting and incentive travel destinations.
This Taiwanese delegation is organized by the Chinese International Meetings and Exhibitions Association, which has invited GIS International Conference Consultants Co., Ltd., the MEET TAIWAN MICE Navigation Plan, the Nangang International Exhibition Center of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (Kaohsiung City Government MICE Promotion Office), The Westin Taipei, Regent Taipei, Will Consultant Co., Ltd., Era International Hotel Co., Ltd., Manli International Co., Ltd., and EVA Air to go to the United States to exhibit and promote.
The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications hopes to introduce Taiwan's overall incentive travel and conference industry resources and environment through direct face-to-face individual negotiations with American buyers and briefings to heavyweight group buyers invited by the organizers, explaining the currently emerging conference facilities of tourist hotels and incentive measures provided by the government, in order to expand the Americas market.
