Joint recruitment event for middle-aged and older adults in Shuanghe District, New Taipei on the 19th, nearly 700 job openings, welcome to attend

To help middle-aged and older friends in New Taipei City find employment smoothly, the Employment Services Office of the New Taipei City Government will hold a "Joint Recruitment Event for Middle-Aged and Older Adults" on Wednesday, October 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the Yong'an Citizens' Activity Center in Yonghe District, inviting 22 well-known companies and offering more than 650 diverse job openings to meet the needs of job seekers in the area and middle-aged and older friends. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Wu Ren-yu, director of the Employment Services Office, said that to help middle-aged and older friends enter the workplace smoothly, 22 companies have been specially invited to take part in the recruitment event, including Senao International, Carrefour, CoCo Ichibanya, Le Blé d'Or, Heli Industrial, and President Transnet. On site, they will offer a variety of positions suitable for middle-aged and older friends, such as hourly store service staff, scooter home delivery personnel, hourly central kitchen staff, part-time cleaning staff, laptop and home appliance assembly inspectors, and operators, with more than 650 job opportunities in total, including about 200 part-time and side-job openings. Middle-aged and older friends and job seekers who want to find work are welcome to seize the opportunity and come to the event to look for a job.

In addition, the event specially plans an "Employment Promotion Zone." Besides providing explanations of employment promotion tools such as "job redesign for middle-aged and older workers," the "workplace learning and readjustment program," "incentives for employment in labor-shortage industries," and "cross-regional employment subsidies," it also offers a "resume checkup service" to help job seekers explore themselves, show their strengths, and increase their chances of being hired.
