The Environmental Protection Bureau pointed out that four enterprises - Taipower's Datan Power Plant, Longtan Aspire Resort, AU Optronics, and Kuozui Motors - received "Silver Award" recognition. Taipower's Datan Power Plant and Aspire Resort, for actively formulating and implementing environmental protection policies and fulfilling corporate social responsibility, won the award for 3 consecutive years and were presented with the "Honorary Environmental Protection Enterprise Award Trophy," symbolizing the highest honor for enterprises promoting environmental protection.

A total of 26 enterprises won awards at the 25th Enterprise Environmental Protection Award, and Taoyuan City alone had 4 winning enterprises, the highest number in the country. Among them, Aspire Resort had previously received certification in 2013 as the country's first privately run Gold-Level Environmental Protection Hotel, with concrete and clear carbon reduction benefits in energy saving, water-saving equipment upgrades, and the use of heat pumps and solar power generation devices, using a resource center monitoring system to achieve optimization; Taipower's Datan Power Plant, which uses natural gas as its main fuel for power generation, improved combustion adjustment technology to effectively reduce pollutant emissions. Both enterprises received the honor of the "Honorary Trophy."

Liu Jianzhong, Deputy Director of the Environmental Protection Bureau, said that Taoyuan continues to promote environmental friendliness and actively supports and cultivates outstanding environmental protection enterprises. Taoyuan City welcomes high-quality environmental protection enterprises with open arms to take root, drive Taoyuan's economic development, create job opportunities, and jointly respond to the government's environmental protection actions, so that Taoyuan City can create a win-win-win situation for the environment, the economy, and employment, and establish a green industry culture.
