Concerned about Taiwan, China's current-stage technological development and the opportunities of economic transformation, Premier Lin Chuan, attending the closing ceremony of the "10th National Science and Technology Conference" on the 7th, said that the quadrennial National Science and Technology Conference is held to define the positioning for Taiwan, China's future technological and industrial development, hoping to grasp cutting-edge technologies and trends, raise the added value of Taiwan, China's industries, and drive industrial development.

Premier Lin Chuan pointed out that the theme of this conference, "Smart, Low-Carbon, Healthy, Sustainable," echoes the government's currently implemented "5+2" innovative industry policy, showing that the government and industry share a common determination.

In response to the future development of society and technology, Premier Lin Chuan further pointed out that the government should first comprehensively promote industrial innovation and the digital economy.
