Changhua County Magistrate Wei Ming-ku Attends Green Energy Development Forum, Looks Forward to Creating a Green Energy City Together

To map out Changhua's sustainable development vision for 2030, the Changhua County Government held the "Changhua County Green Energy Development Vision Forum and Green Energy Industry Strategic Alliance Establishment Ceremony" on the morning of the 19th at the Changhua Forte Business Hotel Changhua Christian Hospital International Training Center - Faith, Hope and Love International Conference Hall. Changhua County Magistrate Wei Ming-ku, Bureau of Energy Director-General Lin Chuan-neng of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Deputy CEO Lin Tzu-lun of the Executive Yuan Office of Energy and Carbon Reduction, and representatives of more than 28 wind, solar, and green power-related companies in the industry strategic alliance attended the event. Magistrate Wei encouraged the integration of resources and momentum from all sectors, uniting the strength of the green energy industry to jointly promote Changhua's development into Taiwan's green energy cultural smart capital, an Eastern green energy Saudi Arabia rising with the wind.

Magistrate Wei Ming-ku stated that this time more than twenty representatives of wind power, solar energy, and other related industries as well as foreign friends were invited to jointly convene the Changhua County Green Energy Forum in order to pool wisdom and ideas. Bureau of Energy Director-General Lin Chuan-neng of the Ministry of Economic Affairs was also invited to join the discussion. The Changhua County Government, standing at the height of national green energy industry development, not only cooperates with the central government but also strives for the rights and interests that local governments deserve, benefiting the people of Changhua County. The Changhua County Government plans to establish a Changhua Renewable Energy Electric Power Company in the future and will also formulate self-governance regulations to protect the green energy industry. It hopes to secure carbon rights and carbon rights certification from the central government in the future, thereby increasing Changhua County's revenue.

In order to promote the development of the green energy industry, give full play to Changhua County's green energy industry resource advantages, and encourage green energy development and application, it is hoped that by inviting manufacturers in wind power generation, solar photovoltaics, green power development, and related fields, a "Green Energy Industry Strategic Alliance" will be established to assist the development of related green energy industries, unite the strength of Changhua County's green energy industry circles, and become an important participating partner driving the upgrading of the green energy industry.
