Taitung County Government and Tourism Bureau Sign Memorandum of Cooperation on Hot Air Balloon Events

Taitung County Magistrate Huang Chien-ting and Tourism Bureau Director-General Chou Yung-hui jointly signed a hot air balloon tourism cooperation memorandum on the 28th for the first time, announcing that they will join forces to create the "Oh Bear! Shaped Hot Air Balloon," using the unique Formosan black bear as a design element. With its cute and eye-catching design, it will jointly promote Taiwan's tourism marketing, and it is currently estimated that it could make its first appearance during the "2017 Taiwan International Balloon Festival."

With their massive size and powerful eye-catching appeal, hot air balloons draw a constant stream of shutter clicks and flashing lights wherever they go, often becoming the top choice for corporate marketing and advertising; ever since Magistrate Huang Chien-ting successfully built Taitung into a brand city for hot air balloon events, the annual summer "Taiwan International Balloon Festival" has become one of the travel activities many tourists plan as a pilgrimage.

Through the bilateral signing of the hot air balloon event cooperation memorandum by Magistrate Huang Chien-ting and Director-General Chou Yung-hui, in the future they will not only continue to assist the Taitung County Government in holding hot air balloon events; the county government will also actively promote the Oh Bear shaped hot air balloon, and in the future they hope even more to see Taiwan's tourism ambassador - the "Oh Bear!
