Hundred-person incense appreciation! Sun Moon Lake Xiangshan Visitor Center is full of "aroma"

The Heart Awakening Culture and Education Foundation invited the Chinese Incense Ceremony Art and Culture Association to hold a "Hundred-Person Incense Appreciation" event on the afternoon of January 15 at the Sun Moon Lake Xiangshan Visitor Center. 22 incense practitioners well versed in incense ceremony set up incense seats and invited visitors to sit down and appreciate incense. Nantou Deputy County Magistrate Chen Zheng-sheng was also invited to attend and experience it. The venue was filled with fragrance, giving the visitor center a lot of "aroma".

Deputy County Magistrate Chen Zheng-sheng said that interpersonal relationships in today's society are tense, and with climate variability, the public faces more and more challenges in daily life. Through incense appreciation, the Chinese Incense Ceremony Art and Culture Association provides positive energy to society, making society more stable. The volunteers at the scene also had a strong sense of mission and hoped that such an event could be held every year. Deputy Magistrate Chen also invited everyone to view lantern displays in Nantou City starting January 21, as well as sand sculpture and dinosaur exhibitions.

"Teacher Jueyin", chairman of the Chinese Incense Ceremony Art and Culture Association, said that incense actually existed as early as the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties. Incense and medicine share the same origin, and incense can calm the body and mind. The association hopes to promote incense appreciation so that modern people can relax their tension and release stress.

This time the association specially went to the Xiangshan Visitor Center to hold incense appreciation, along with a Dance of Light performance, hoping to bring incense ceremony outdoors, integrate it with the natural landscape and the cultural space of Xiangshan, create diversified incense ceremony aesthetics, and through such moving beauty, awaken more people to cherish art, culture and the natural landscape.
