Hsinchu City Moat "Installation Art Light Zone" Becomes the Hottest Photo Spot

The Hsinchu City Cultural Affairs Bureau said on the 2nd that this year's "2017 Hsinchu Good Year" takes "Windy City Fantasy" as its main theme, setting up an "Installation Art Light Zone" at the moat, Dongmen City and other locations, including 7 light and shadow creations and a riverside light environment. Since opening on January 20, it has attracted more than 30,000 visitors, with people exclaiming "so romantic," and the moat has become a popular photo spot. Mayor Lin Chih-chien said the exhibition runs until February 19, and welcomed people to come for a spring stroll and experience Hsinchu City's unique romantic atmosphere.

This year, the Hsinchu City Government took the moat as its axis, extending to Dongmen City and Fu Hou Street, combining the imagery of the "Hsinchu wind" to set up 7 art light works. The "CosmoC Qinxian Design Team," with rich experience in lighting planning at home and abroad, planned the "light environment shaping," using lights of different color temperatures and arrangements to create changes in light and shadow, conveying warm, fresh and bright moods.

Mr. Qiu, who lives in Keelung, said that the moat combined with the installation art of the art light zone has become more beautiful and atmospheric than before. Not only did it provide a good place to go during the New Year, but as a photography enthusiast he also took many photos and shared them with relatives and friends on Facebook, receiving not only many inquiries, "but the number of likes also increased greatly!"
