Miaoli County to Exhibit Leisure Agriculture Areas at Taichung Travel Fair

The Taichung Spring International Travel Fair will kick off on February 17, and the Miaoli Pavilion will exhibit Miaoli County's 10 major leisure agriculture areas and souvenir gifts, going all out to promote Miaoli's high-quality leisure agriculture tourism as well as souvenir gifts and cultural-creative products, in order to attract more tourists to Miaoli to experience the fun of agricultural tourism.

The 2017 Taichung Spring International Travel Fair will be held for 4 consecutive days starting February 17 at the Chaoma Exhibition Hall in Taichung City. It is an annual grand event at which the tourism industry across Taiwan, China vies for business opportunities. Miaoli County Magistrate Hsu Yao-chang will personally lead a delegation south to exhibit, drumming up publicity for Miaoli County's 10 major leisure agriculture areas and souvenir gift operators.

Magistrate Hsu Yao-chang pointed out that at the Taichung Spring International Travel Fair, Miaoli County will exhibit and sell leisure agriculture tourism as well as high-quality souvenir gifts and specialty products. At the Miaoli Pavilion, there will be tastings of agricultural specialty products and souvenir gifts from the 10 major leisure agriculture areas, all made with local Miaoli ingredients as the highlight, letting the public eat with peace of mind and buy happily. At the same time, a giveaway event will be held: for same-day spending reaching a limited amount of 1,000 yuan, a red envelope can be exchanged on site, and every envelope is a winner.

Magistrate Hsu Yao-chang also said that this exhibition integrates leisure agriculture areas with the pastry industry and cultural-creative products, with a focus on leisure agriculture and industry souvenir gifts. It is hoped that through the travel fair, information on Miaoli County's agricultural tourism will be provided, a Miaoli agricultural tourism brand will be built, and the public will be able to easily understand the features of Miaoli's leisure agriculture, thereby attracting tourists from all over to Miaoli to experience the fun of agricultural tourism.
