2017 Penghu International Sea Fireworks Festival. See You at the Taipei Spring Travel Fair

Taiwan's biggest summer tourism event, the "2017 Penghu International Sea Fireworks Festival," will kick off with a bang on 4/20 (Thursday). The Penghu County Government has specially set up a Penghu theme pavilion at the 2017 Taipei International Spring Travel Fair (3/16-19), warmly inviting the public to visit the booth activities, with prize draws for air tickets and accommodation, local specialty tastings, and free gifts - all with prizes to be won. Penghu joined the Most Beautiful Bays in the World organization as a member in 2012, successfully securing the hosting of the 2018 Most Beautiful Bays in the World International Annual Conference in Penghu. It was also selected by Lonely Planet magazine as one of the world's top 10 hidden paradises, and was subsequently hailed as an emerging tourist city in Asia. Its unique natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage are deeply attractive to international visitors. With the brand image of "Penghu - The World's Most Beautiful Bay" as its main focus, visitors from home and abroad are welcome to come and tour.

The "2017 Penghu International Sea Fireworks Festival" will run grandly from April 20 to June 22 (every Monday and Thursday, with some exceptions) in the evening, with a total of 23 sessions. For some of these sessions, international fireworks teams from Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, China, France and other countries have been specially invited to design spectacular fireworks shows, which will absolutely be a feast for your eyes. This year, some sessions of the main event venue will move to the five townships. In addition, 2 sessions of the Sunset Fireworks Romantic Life Festival and Fireworks Market will be held, featuring each township's themed characteristics, cultural and creative handmade goods, agricultural and fishery products, ecological and environmental protection, international cuisine and charity booths.
