How to water succulents in summer? Water them the wrong way and every pot you keep dies

Summer is here, and many flower lovers like to keep some potted plants at home, which not only decorate the room but also help regulate the indoor temperature and humidity. And succulents are one of the more popular potted plants for the home, plump and chubby, and keeping a pot at home gives you high ornamental value.
But recently some flower lovers said that when they watered their succulents in summer, the plants died as they watered. Why is that? Based on my own experience growing succulents, today I will sum it up for everyone, to see whether you also fall into these traps when watering your succulents.
First of all, watering succulents must be done in moderation; if you water too much, root rot is unavoidable. You can place a tray underneath and put water in the tray for the succulents to absorb. Generally, water them only when you see the soil surface turn white, and when you do water, water thoroughly.
For watering succulents, it is best to use fish tank water and some homemade nutrient solution. If you must use tap water, then draw it out first and let it sit for a few days. Never water directly with it, because tap water contains some substances that affect succulent growth and lead to death. Summer sunlight is relatively strong, and succulents that have just been watered must not be exposed to direct strong sunlight, or they will be scorched to death.
Also, speaking of nutrient solution, many flower lovers know that rice water is especially effective for growing flowers. But if used incorrectly, it can be poison that kills succulents. Rice water must be fermented before watering flowers. Many flower lovers are lazy and water directly with it, and over time a film sticks to the soil surface, causing the soil to harden, so the succulent roots cannot absorb nutrients and the plant will not live long.
Flower lovers who like succulents should quickly check whether the succulents you keep at home have also fallen into such traps. You must pay attention when watering succulents, otherwise every pot you keep dies. If you have any other flower-growing experience, you can also share it with everyone in the comment box below!
