A romantic tung blossom tour of the Hakka village: Yunlin Hakka Tung Blossom Festival makes a dreamy debut on the 29th and 30th

The 2017 Yunlin Hakka Tung Blossom Festival will grandly open this weekend (April 29 and 30) at the Hebaoshan Tung Blossom Park in Gukeng Township, the Lunxi Community Park in Erlun Township, and the Lunbei Park and Zhao'an Hakka Cultural Center in Lunbei Township; the Yunlin County Government held a promotional press conference at the Tung Blossom Park on the 26th, where County Magistrate Li Jinyong, Gukeng Township Chief Huang Yiling, Erlun Township Chief Zhong Fuzhu and others welcomed people from all over the country to enjoy the "romantic tung blossom rain" together and "tour the Hakka village."

County Magistrate Li Jinyong officially announced that this year's Tung Blossom Festival theme is "A Romantic Tung Blossom Rain Tour of the Hakka Village," welcoming everyone to visit Yunlin in spring and experience the romantic atmosphere of the Hakka village; County Magistrate Li Jinyong also said that the Yunlin Hakka Tung Blossom Festival is now in its 9th year and has become the county's largest annual Hakka ecological carnival. This year's events will be held this weekend (April 29 and 30) in Gukeng Township, Erlun Township and Lunbei Township respectively. Through this event, it is hoped that the Hakka people's contributions to Taiwan will be affirmed, and that the beauty of Hakka culture will be made familiar and loved by more people through natural scenery, food, and cultural static and dynamic exhibitions.

Gukeng Township Chief Huang Yiling said that in conjunction with the blooming tung blossoms, a camping area has also been added this year at the Tung Blossom Park, the venue for Gukeng Township's Tung Blossom Festival. From now until May 31, free applications are available, and everyone is welcome to enjoy a rare outdoor lodging experience under the romantic tung blossom trees.
