The Agriculture Bureau of Taichung City is providing guidance to the Shuilidong Leisure Agriculture Area in Waipu District, where there is a field of yellow calla lilies. The Agriculture Bureau stated that, in addition to the flower field, Waipu is even better known for dragon fruit and wine grapes, and there are also several wineries. The Waipu District Farmers' Association pointed out that the yellow calla lily field is located on Shuitou 2nd Road, turning off Section 3 of Jiahou Road in Waipu District. It is planted by young farmer Liang Lijie in the Shuilidong Leisure Agriculture Area, and the flowering season runs from January to May. Because yellow calla lilies have relatively shallow root systems, the plants are easily damaged during harvesting, so currently only photo opportunities are offered to visitors. If you want to take calla lilies home, there is a sales point at the edge of the field where you can buy them from the farmer. In addition, visitors are urged not to trample or pick the calla lilies while enjoying the flowers, so as to preserve the beautiful scene of the flower sea.
