Hong Kong International Travel Expo - Taitung Theme Heat Rising Summer Launch

As summer approaches, the Taitung County Government has issued a call to action, "Summer Launch: Direct Flights to Taitung," inviting everyone to come to Taitung for a midsummer journey of "Dynamic Taitung, Heat Rising!" The Hong Kong International Travel Expo opened on June 15 and runs through June 18 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Taitung County Magistrate Huang Chien-ting led the county government team to Hong Kong, personally bringing Taitung's beautiful scenery and rich, fun tourism activities. To welcome Hong Kong travelers to Taitung, anyone who signs up for a Taitung itinerary and comes to join the hot air balloon carnival can exchange their passport at Luye Highland for a Taiwan Hot Air Balloon Carnival commemorative badge.

More than 80 media outlets and industry representatives attended the promotion event. Magistrate Huang Chien-ting stated that this year, the seventh Taiwan International Hot Air Balloon Carnival, centers on the concept of Lucky 7, hoping fans will play more and gain more, play more and get luckier. It creates three major surprises: "the year with the most shaped balloons in 7 years," "7 day-and-night glow shows for double enjoyment," and "7 major Lucky experiences for good fortune!" This year, 32 cute and whimsical shaped balloons from 11 countries are invited to Taiwan, creating a visual feast in the summer sky. There are also seven glow music concerts touring various parts of Taitung!

In addition, to let Hong Kong friends come to Taitung in the most convenient way, under the theme "Summer Launch: Direct Flights to Taitung," the Hong Kong-Taitung charter flights have officially launched! Every Tuesday and Friday, charter flights operate as limited direct routes, totaling 26 flights, greatly shortening the distance between Hong Kong and Taitung and bringing tourism exchanges between the two places even closer.
