The 52nd Paris Air Show in France runs from June 19 to 25. Taichung Mayor Lin Chia-lung attended the Taiwan Pavilion international press conference held at Le Bourget, Paris on the 20th, promoting Taichung's smart machinery and aerospace industries to countries around the world. Mayor Lin Chia-lung said that Taichung is an important cluster for the smart machinery and aerospace industries. In addition to driving the development of Taichung's aerospace industry through various policy plans, the Taichung City Government also hopes to use this trip to expand more international business opportunities and cooperation chances.

"Through an integrated marketing approach, Taiwan's smart machinery businesses no longer have to fight alone!" In his speech, Mayor Lin Chia-lung first thanked the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the representative office in France and the Industrial Technology Research Institute for their assistance, which made it possible to set up the Taiwan Pavilion at the French air show and display various Taiwan smart machinery and aerospace industry-related products or parts.

Mayor Lin Chia-lung said that this year's Paris Air Show is quite special. Through the platform provided by the government, the "Taiwan Pavilion," Taiwan's exhibiting businesses are using an integrated marketing model to show the world the strengths of Taiwan's smart machinery and aerospace industries, and to market Taiwan and Taichung to the whole world. Taichung not only has aerospace, precision machinery and machine tool businesses, but also the Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology, forming an industrial cluster. It is hoped that participating in the air show will bring about more international cooperation.

The Economic Development Bureau said that the Paris Air Show in France began in 1909 and is held in June of every odd-numbered year at Le Bourget. In addition to being an international aviation industry trade exhibition, it displays more than 150 aircraft, and there are flight demonstrations every afternoon. Major global aircraft manufacturers including Boeing and Airbus all participate, and it is considered the world's most prestigious air show. At the show two years ago, more than 2,300 exhibitors took part.
