Renovation and garden building carried out simultaneously; netizens say they want to swap for a house with a yard too

My house was renovated last May. I also wanted to build the garden at the same time as the house renovation, but the boss was against it: workers are constantly going in and out through the yard, and materials are also carried in through the yard. If you finish the yard first, and then they damage something of yours, wouldn't you be devastated! I thought about it and agreed, so let's do the garden after the house is renovated.

But I just couldn't hold back the itch! I have a south-facing yard that is bathed in brilliant sunshine all day long! The days of directing the boss to move flower pots in and out chasing the sun are over! I can plant flowers however I please~

From then on, I joined the shopaholic club and never looked back.

I specifically chose this anti-corrosion wood, which is considered good in our local area, just hoping for better quality and a frame that can last longer. But I read online that the preservative liquid has to fully penetrate the wood for it to count as good anti-corrosion wood. I took a piece the craftsman had sawed off and saw that the core in the middle was still white, and the green preservative liquid had not penetrated that part. I asked their company's technician, who said the preservative liquid had actually already penetrated in. I don't know if that's true~

The renovation has been bumpy but is almost at the end. I decided to install my anti-corrosion wood deck and flower stand~ The small yard has taken another step toward being completed.

During the renovation there was not much progress in the small yard, so while supervising the renovation I just planted the flowers I bought online into the ground. When the yard is done, there will be ready-made flowers to enjoy, right?

Some flowers in the front yard

Verbena

I got obsessed with roses and planted them everywhere, without giving much thought to the layered distribution of plants. Later I dug them out again and went through a round of culling and reshuffling, wasting time and energy. This is probably a common problem for beginners. I hope friends can learn from my lesson.

How it looks after completion~~ Has it changed at once?

Backyard

I planted a row of bougainvillea. It grew quickly, and in just a short time a green hedge formed. Because it was planted very close to the hydrangeas, with lots of water and fertilizer, and the backyard faces north with little sunlight in winter, it never bloomed, so I just called it the green giant~ But I had originally planned to use it as a hedge anyway, so whether it has flowers or not does not matter.

Lush grass, the small yard when we moved into the new house last June

Netizen: So beautiful and so cozy, every day among the flowers! I also want to swap for a house with a yard!
