The most frustrating thing when growing flowers is yellowing leaves. A newly bought plant is lush and leafy, but after being kept for a while it easily develops yellowing and leaf drop. Of course, if we master a few small watering tips and put a bit more thought into watering, this situation can be improved very well.

1. Rice water

If rice water is used to water flowers without being fermented first, it may breed bugs. After fermentation it can be used to water flowers. Fermented rice water is rich in nutrients, but after fermentation it has a very unpleasant smell. However, adding some orange peel during fermentation can effectively ease this situation.

2. Aquarium water

The nutrient-rich water in a fish tank can also be used to water flowers. Generally, aquarium water contains fish droppings and leftover fish food, so it is fairly rich in nutrients. Aquarium water can be used directly to water flowers; it just needs to sit for a while until the water temperature matches room temperature.

3. Air conditioner water

Summer temperatures are high, and it is once again the season when we cannot do without the air conditioner. The condensate discharged by an air conditioner is very good water for watering flowers. It is neutral water, so it is very suitable for watering flowers, and this also puts waste to use. However, condensate is similar to distilled water and contains relatively few trace elements, so you can dissolve a compound fertilizer in it, making it nutrient-rich water for watering flowers.

4. Beer

Beer contains a great deal of carbon dioxide, an element essential for plant growth. Beer also contains rich protein, amino acids, sugar and other components, which are very beneficial to the growth of flowers. After diluting beer, it can be used to water flowers, or you can use beer to wipe the leaves, which can make the leaves even more emerald green and glossy.
