New Program Debuts at Hualien's Shuiyang Huilan Water Dance Show on the 28th

The "2017 Red-Faced Duck FUN Summer Vacation" series of performances, "Mountain and Water Live-Action Show ~ Qilai Legend II," has received an enormous response from audiences since its opening. The "Shuiyang Huilan Water Dance Show" at 7 PM and 9 PM every evening, with dynamic music, rhythmic water dance, and dazzling lasers paired with a 3D projection 60 m wide and 30 m high, has also been widely praised. To thank the residents for their enthusiastic participation, the Hualien County Government will change to an all-new water dance show program on July 28. Residents are welcome to bring the whole family, young and old, to Liyu Lake to enjoy the dazzling water dance show!

Peng Weizu, Acting Director of the Hualien County Tourism Department, said that since its opening, Liyu Lake in Shoufeng Township has attracted more than 500,000 visitors from Hualien, all over Taiwan, China, and abroad. Every night on the lakeside terraced viewing platform at Liyu Lake, visitors sit or stand to enjoy the "Shuiyang Huilan Water Dance Show." The brilliant sound-and-light water dance show, together with the hundred-scene water screen show, plays award-winning works from the "Reflecting Hualien" photography competition, projecting images of Hualien's natural beauty and cultural charm onto the large water screen, weaving together a magnificent and high-tech spectacle that leaves visitors from home and abroad amazed.

Starting July 28, the "2017 Red-Faced Duck FUN Summer Vacation" will change to all-new programs for both the daytime rhythmic fountain show and the nighttime Shuiyang Huilan Water Dance Show. The event continues until August 13. Those who have not yet been to Liyu Lake to experience the water dance show should not miss the chance to enjoy the most spectacular outdoor water dance show in all of Taiwan, China! In addition, to celebrate Father's Day, an entertaining "Red-Faced Duck Parents' Day" event will be held at the event venue from 5 PM to 7:30 PM on August 5.
