Miaoli County "Golden Beer Food and Shopping Festival" kicks off with a bang at Shangshun on 8/5

To celebrate this year's Father's Day, the Miaoli County Government will hold a three-week "Golden Beer Food and Shopping Festival" sales event from August 5 (Saturday) to 27 (Sunday); on the first day, a promotional event for local specialty products will be held at Shangshun Entertainment World in Toufen. The public is welcome to come and take part in the "Golden Feast" of tasting Miaoli's local beer and cuisine!

To promote the food and tourism industries of the Miaoli North area (Toufen, Zhunan, Houlong, Zaoqiao), Miaoli County actively sought subsidies from the Ministry of Economic Affairs to carry out the "Integrated Development Plan for the Food and Tourism Industries of the Four Townships in the Lower Reach of the Zhonggang River in Miaoli County," aiming to build a "Golden Beer City" and promote the Golden Food Tour's local food and tourism industries.

As part of the plan, the "Golden Beer Food and Shopping Festival" is specially held. On the first day of the event, 20 Miaoli specialty businesses will sell locally brewed beer, delicious dishes from the four townships, and many exquisite souvenirs; when visitors spend a designated amount, they can redeem Gold Medal Beer and hidden-edition gifts for free with their receipts! During the shopping festival, visitors who spend a designated amount at participating stores can enjoy many discounts (discount offers vary by store).
