Grow pothos this way in summer, and its leaves will stay glossy green for ten years without turning yellow

As summer arrives, many plant lovers notice their pothos looking droopy and listless, or even developing a few yellow leaves. What is going on? After making it through the tough winter, pothos should be growing like crazy in summer. Today, Bai Xiaomei'er will chat with everyone about how to properly care for pothos in summer.
Tips for caring for pothos in summer:
1. After summer arrives, pothos needs shade and cannot take direct sunlight, otherwise its leaves easily turn scorched yellow and wilt. For pothos grown outdoors, it is best to move it indoors to a ventilated spot. If sunburn has already appeared, promptly cut off the sunburned leaves together with their petioles.
2. In this season, you can give pothos a moderate amount of foliar fertilizer. Leftover beer is a very good choice. It can promote the metabolism of the plant's leaves. Dilute beer and water at a ratio of 1:10, then wipe the pothos leaves with this solution. Be sure to wipe both the front and back sides, once every half month, and you will find the pothos leaves are green and large, especially glossy.
Note: In this season, it is not recommended to water pothos with diluted beer solution, because the temperature is too high and it easily causes the beer to ferment a second time and burn the roots.
3. Spray the leaves with water in the morning and evening to increase air humidity, but do not water too frequently. Water only when you see the potting soil has dried out.
That is all for sharing about pothos. Plant lovers, do you have any better suggestions? You are welcome to leave a comment and share together.
