Yunlin County Specialty Gifts Take Part in the Tokyo International Gift Show in Japan

The 84th Tokyo International Gift Show in Japan ran from September 6 to September 8, 106 ROC year (2017) at Tokyo Big Sight. To raise the profile of Yunlin County products, the county government was represented by Deputy Director-General Cheng Feng-ming of the Public Works Department, together with Huwei Township Mayor Lin Wen-pin, Director Huang Ching-tang of the Taiwan Textile Research Institute, Chairman Li Ying-hsing of the Yunlin County Towel Industry Technology Development Association, General Manager Lin Kuo-lung of Hsing Lung Textile Factory, Director Kuo Mei-tsu of Chan Sheng Fresh Enterprise Co., Ltd., and Lin Chia-jung, representative of Siluo Tatung Soy Sauce Enterprise Co., Ltd., among other industry representatives attending the exhibition. Magistrate Lee Chin-yung also recommended eight gifts representing Yunlin County's specialties, hoping that enterprises in the county will move toward the international market through this exhibition.

To recommend gifts with Yunlin characteristics, Magistrate Lee Chin-yung selected eight gifts from tourism factories and gifts that had previously won the county's Top Ten Souvenir Awards, including 1. Fermented Black Garlic Essence Gift Box, 2. Century Charm, 3. Yuanshun Pre-Germinated Cold-Pressed Sesame Oil, 4. Mid-Autumn Reunion Gift Box, 5. Lai Ji - The Oil Gift Is Truly Good, 6. Xian Cai Mullet Roe One-Bite Bites, 7. Yunlin Gukeng Drip Coffee, and 8. Imperial Golden Rice. He hopes that enterprises in the county will move toward the international market through this exhibition and enhance the image and brand awareness of Yunlin agricultural products and goods.

Magistrate Lee Chin-yung pointed out that, in addition to participating in the gift show, the county government also sent Deputy Director-General Cheng Feng-ming of the Public Works Department to attend the "3rd Yunlin County and Gunma Prefecture Kiryu City Regional Industry Development Exchange Forum" held on September 8 in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan, to promote industrial development with Kiryu City through the exchange forum and enhance future cooperation opportunities.
